Enoch Barlow, Sarah Jimmerson, and Nancy M.

Much work needs to be done on this family, if anyone has contributions, please do not hesitate to contact me.   I attempted to rework this family in 2012 and found that it was just as confusing so I gave up.

ENOCH BARLOW, son of WILLIAM BRYANT BARLOW and NANCY HERRINGTON/HARRINGTON, was born c1826, and died after 1880.    He served in the Civil War, as a private in Co B 36th MS Infantry.

He married 1. SARAH JIMMERSON  [The Nancy shown in the 1850 census of Jones Co Mississippi is thought to be her mother]  She probably died before 1860, at which time Enoch is married to his second wife, NANCY M.  She may be a sister to Sarah, and a daughter of the elder Nancy also.

1850 Agricultural Census of Jones Co Mississippi:  Enoch Barlow's farm was valued at $100, with 20 improved acres and 60 unimproved acres. He valued his farm implements and machinery at $5. He had 1 horse, 1 mule or ass, 4 milk cows, 4 other cattle, and 20 swine, for a total livestock value of $195. He raised 125 bushels of corn and 600 bushels of  rice. The value of his household manufactures was $30 and the value of animals he slaughtered was $70.
Jones Co Mississippi Tax Rolls of 1854:  Enoch Barlow - Sec. 36, Twp. 6, Range 12 - 79.94 acres, $1.25 per acre, $99.82 taxable, 16 cents state tax.
Child of ENOCH and SARAH is:
1.  CHARITY BARLOW, daughter of ENOCH AND SARAH, was born c1849-50, and died probably between 1897-1900 in Covington Co Mississippi.

She married WESLEY WASHINGTON GRAVES c1870.   He was born November 1850, and died between 1910-1920, probably in Covington Co Mississippi.

Charity Barlow who married Wesley Washington Graves was a great source of confusion, I believe he may actually be William W. Graves, son of John J. Graves and Mary Ann Kelly.   Further, I believe Charity may have died c1881 and Wesley remarried to a woman named Nancy, perhaps Nancy Morea/Moree, which would make all children born after 1881, those of she and Wesley.
I could not locate them in an 1870 census.
